This plan includes high-fiber foods, along with low-glycemic carbs, and lean proteins. The South Beach Diet incorporates a system of “good” and “bad” fats and carbohydrates. Certain fats and carbohydrates are permitted, while others are to be avoided.
The South Beach diet has three phases. The 1st phase includes a rapid amount of weight loss while getting rid of cravings and the 2nd phase focuses on adding more food variety.
