With 38 homicides in 2013 San Jose definitely earned a spot in this list. The violence in this city seems to be escalating in 2015.
In January of 2015 there were five people shot inside a nightclub in San Jose during a Chris Brown performance. Even the police aren’t safe when dealing with violent people as Michael Johnson was shot and killed in March 2015 by a suicidal man using a high-powered rifle. Johnson was the first officer killed in the line of duty in San Jose in 14 years.
