The Maze’s unmarked territories make it difficult for even the most experienced hikers to navigate the trail. The Maze is 13.5 miles long, equipped with extremely steep and difficult paths.
It is vital that those who plan to hike this path focus on maximum preparedness, in case they fall off track, or an emergency comes their way. It could take authorities up to three days to find anyone lost in the Maze, so it’s crucial to have a solid plan in place. Water is scarce so it is also important to make sure you care as much as you will need while hiking.
