Lost Sheep
Ideal for children, this story is often taught in Sunday school. It helps little ones to understand that Jesus loves all of his sheep, whether they are lost or found. One of the easier lessons to digest, it is easy for anyone to understand, even the very young.
Jesus and all of Heaven rejoice when just one sinner repents and becomes a saved soul. In the parable, it is shown how even the most severely lost should still have help. Just when it seems like everything is lost forever, the little sheep becomes found and rejoices in faith forever.
