The Birth of Jesus
This is the classic Christmas Story. The Birth of Jesus tells of the miraculous virgin birth of a Savior, Jesus Christ, born to a poor carpenter and his young wife. It also highlights the tenacity of Joseph and Mary as they struggled through poverty to bring him into the world.
The Birth of Jesus also identifies how angels come to humans to deliver news or requests. Mary was advised by an angel of her upcoming immaculate conception–while she felt fear at first, she also felt a strong drive to see God’s plan through. The angel also tells her that nothing is impossible with the love of God.
