Missouri

The state of Missouri is smack dab in the middle of the South and the Midwest. This state is famous for its vibrant town of St. Louis, as well as its easy living style. Recently, during the decreasing prices of oil barrels, Missouri also became famous for its low gas prices, making the state a bit more popular than it was previously.

While gas prices in most states hovered in the two dollar and three dollar range, Missouri had gas that was below two dollars. Missouri isn’t a perfect state, but it did have this advantage and the residents who live there were grateful for it, especially when you consider some of the other issues they have had to deal with recently. Some towns in Missouri had gas in the $1.50 range, which has not been seen in the United States in years.
