Did your former spouse file bankruptcy without you? It is possible your name was attached, and it is now affecting your score. This is another big one to make sure is accurate.

This type of information stays on your report and can affect it negatively for up to ten years. If you didn’t file, but were included in a joint bankruptcy, or if any of the information in this section is inaccurate, make sure you take care of it immediately.
