10 Things to Check in Your Credit Report

Marital Status

Does your report say you are single when you are married? Or, does it accidentally say you are widowed when in fact you just got a divorce? This information is also relevant and can affect your credit rating.

If you were divorced, make sure your former spouse is listed as such. All information should be accurate, and any error has to be taken care of and repaired at the earliest convenience, before it can damage your credit rating.
