This section is sometimes skimmed quickly because people assume their personal information is accurate. You do, however, need to inspect this section as thoroughly as the others. Is your name spelled properly? Is your middle initial accurate? Are the right letters capitalized, and are their abbreviations where they should be (Jr., etc)?
Every piece of information about you should be stated accurately. Even if a letter is lower case where it should be capitalized, you have to inform the credit bureaus so they can make the appropriate changes to your report. You could find something as simple as your name is completely incorrect.
