They are Nerds
Not that being a nerd is bad. Cosplay, Larping, and participation in D&D leagues, is higher than that of any other state in the United States. It seems as if the people from Utah enjoy more than just snowboarding and also enjoy a wide range of extracurricular activities that are often associated with the title, “nerd.”
These activities are a bit more popular in Utah than in many other states in the U.S. It may be due to a culture that drinks less alcohol, or because many people consider Utah to have fewer activities available. Whatever the case, if you are a fan of these types of activities, you will likely feel right at home.
