Polygamists
Contrary to popular belief, the television show, “Big Love”, does not represent every household in Utah. The majority of couples in Utah are considered monogamous, with marriages to only one person, rather than many.
While polygamy is common in some areas, the average person in Utah does not follow this type of lifestyle. What many residents can probably agree on is that the stereotype that everyone in the state is a polygamist may be tiring. Especially if only based on television shows.
