Jungle Ultra

This 143-mile, 5-stage trek takes you from the Andes to the Amazon, through Peru’s Manu National Park. This marathon includes a vast array of biodiversity – over 250 varieties of trees, 15,000 species of plants, and a variety of animals of all species. It is considered one of the most diverse marathons.

To add to the difficulty of Jungle Ultra, runners are responsible for taking their own sleeping bag, hammocks, food, and supplies along each stage. Temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but runners face additional challenges in the jungle, such as the possibility of running into snakes, bugs, and jaguars as well.
