Moses rescued the Israelites and took them to the wilderness to keep them safe, but they didn’t have much faith in him. They began to complain that they would die of hunger and thirst. The Lord responded to them by providing water and manna from Heaven each day and night.
The Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain and descended to the mountain top, cloaked on fire. The Lord spoke to Moses and told him, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the House of slavery.” As he spoke to Moses he wrote the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone. Moses took the tablets down from the mountain to share with the people.
