Everyone loves a great vampire story so for television fans, The Vampire Diaries was long overdue. This show is a supernatural drama which debuted in 2009. The Vampire Diaries has won four People’s Choice awards and many Teen Choice awards. In January 2015, the show was renewed for a seventh season.
The The Vampire Diaries includes a diary of a 17 year old girl that has proven more than interesting for fans, season after season. The vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon, are the main characters in the show, one of them being the good vampire and the other one, an evil vampire who is trying to wreak havoc on their small town. For fans of the Twilight series, and people who love different and supernatural stories, this has become a popular television show.
