The process and elements required to grow and sustain plant life has been researched and is at least one process that science has nailed down. Although there are plants that can survive without adequate sunlight and water, it is pretty well proven that most need certain elements in order to grow.
Genesis depicts that God created plants on day three, but the sun did not roll around until day four. Photosynthesis is a natural scientific proof. Further, we know that with no sun or water, plants are unable to grow or survive. If God did not think about putting the sun up first, how would he want his creations to have survived? Is this another misprint or translation error, or is there a contradiction in the order of creation?
