These days, the evolution versus creation debate is quite common, with both sides feeling strongly about their beliefs. Many elements in favor of evolution, have been proven scientifically, and those who deny the fundamentals of evolution are often those who believe their translations of the Bible should be taken literally.
The time required for evolution, and the creation of the universe, is quite possibly the biggest mistake made in the Book of Genesis. It is depicted that God only needed six days to create the universe and rested on the seventh day.
