Soda
Liquid diets and drinking lots of fluids are encouraged when dieting for weight loss. With little else available in vending machines, it can be tempting to have a soda rather than another drink. Unfortunately, soda is one of the worst possible foods for dieting and weight loss.
Sodas are full of empty calories. One can of Coca-Cola holds 140 calories. If you drink two per day with each meal, that’s 840, or almost half of a dieters days’ worth of calories. Cutting out all soda is necessary in order to ramp up weight loss.
