Tortilla Chips
Chips and salsa are the dynamic duo of healthy snacks often encouraged when you’re in the process of losing weight. While salsa is a good snack that is low in calories, the chip choice should be looked over with a keen eye. The one important factor to pay attention to is the makeup of the tortilla chips.
Most tortilla chips on the market have a large amount of sodium, which causes high cholesterol and is terrible for a diet. Select blue corn or light tortilla chips without excess ingredients and without the sodium. If possible, bake your own tortilla chips in the oven for healthier snacking.
