Bicycle Legs
It’s not always possible to jump on a bicycle and go for a ride. However, it is possible to use an exercise that mimics the motion of biking to tone your hips and thighs. Bicycle legs use your own weight and body balancing to tone the lower body.
To start, lay down on your back with your hands behind your head. Your position should mimic the position used when doing a regular crunch. Next, slightly lift your head from the floor. Then, lift your legs into the air and move them as if you were pedaling a bicycle. First, bend one leg while straightening the other at the same time. Perform this motion 10 times to start, allowing for a few minutes of rest after each set. Gradually move up to do as many as you can over time.
