The percentage of violent crimes in Riviera Beach are at a staggering 93%, which may also indicate a high rate of violence. 13.21 crimes happen per 1,000 residents, six murders are reported annually, and 269 assaults are recorded annually. Riviera Beach ranked all the way at #299 in safety in Florida, which is incredibly low on the list, resulting in skepticism surrounding its security levels. Palm Beach Post reported that Florida law enforcement pointed to a 16.8% decrease in all areas, except for murder.
