Mistakes or just misunderstood?
With estimated sales of approximately 100 million per year, the Bible is considered the best selling book of all time. While the first Bible ever printed, the Gutenberg Bible, occurred in 1455, many different editions and translations have taken place since then. It is possible that alterations over the years have resulted in vague references and elements that don’t quite add up.
Some of the inconsistencies and errors mentioned in the Bible, however, are those that are consistently translated the same with each edition. Although some followers and religions are taught to overlook these mistakes and instead depend on faith and belief, many continue to seek out answers and explanations for the areas that don’t quite make sense.
Although religious pundits would never admit to it, if you read the Bible from cover to cover, you will quickly find there are a number of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies. Whether or not you are religious, or believe in what the Bible has to say, it is simple to point out the errors, and how the contradictions can detract from what is written in the Bible. These are a few of the mistakes and inconsistencies that have been noted over the years.
