Coney Island Beach Boardwalk
Who would not want to run the Coney Island Beach Boardwalk? It really is a safe place to run as long as you are as cautious as you would be anywhere. You’ll see all sorts of people engaging in a variety of activities and may even notice a new sport you want to take up, like rollerblading.
You can see the 86 year old wooden Cyclone and the amazing Wonder Wheel Ferris Wheel. Try the three and a half mile Asser Levy Park path that is just off the boardwalk. Or instead of running you could try out the Abe Stark Ice Skating Rink for a different winter exercise. If you like to be in the center of local activities, this is the place to be because it’s usually filled with people doing different things.
