Sepulveda Basin
If you really want to get away from the city and take a safe jog among some of the city’s best natural elements, the Sepulveda Basin’s trails are perfect. This area includes bike paths, fields, and running trails which run through Woodley Park and around the basin.
Here, you can take in breathtaking scenery provided by mountains, rivers, and streams, as well as a variety of wildlife. The wildlife found at Sepulveda Basin range from small birds such as oriole and goldfinch to Canada geese, herons, and ducks. This is a great place to run in the morning or evening as it is open from sunrise to sunset.
