Great Danes
Believe it or not, Great Danes only require moderate-levels of physical activity, but they do best in spacious environments. Great Danes are fascinating, considering that there is such a large spectrum of behavior pertaining to their breed. Many Great Danes are sociable in nature, while others are stubborn and sole protectors. The Great Danes that tend to be on the sociable side of the spectrum make great family pets, and can co-exist wonderfully with other domestic animals.
It is critical for Great Danes to undergo obedience training, especially if they will be around children. Like most other breeds, they respond best to rewarding and lively training, versus training methods that are harsh in nature.
