Golden Retrievers
Golden retrievers are known for their tolerant and friendly nature, and are one of the most highly recommended family dogs. Retrievers get their name from being substantially good at retrieving things, which of course, makes them great at playing fetch. They are known for being very sociable, and do best when they are able to spend most of their time indoors.
This breed also does best when receiving at least 40 to 60 minutes of physical activity each day. They tend to be high maintenance due to long coats which need to be brushed on a day-to-day basis. Even with minor high maintenance qualities, however, retrievers are known for friendly and loyal attitudes, certainly make up for any downfalls.
