Jamestown
The metropolitan hub of the city of Jamestown has recorded one of the highest number of shootings in the Western region of the state. Also ranked second in registered sex offenders per capita, Jamestown has very actively growing and prevalent drug traffickers.
Overall crime rate of 45 crimes per 1,000 people is considerably higher than the national average. Chances of falling victim to a gunshot are 1 in 22 is pretty discouraging. Nevertheless, an extensive drug task force has been formed to work directly with FBI to help prevent the surging crimes in the city.
