This trail is known for having moderately steep periods, but the difficulty of this trail is related to its winding terrain. Being so narrow and curvy, it is often difficult to navigate Rover’s Run. The trip is only 3.4 miles overall, but its rocky and elevated atmosphere is extremely challenging and makes completion of the trail difficult.
As if the terrain and hike itself weren’t challenging enough, you could also run into brown bears. You will need to make sure you remain on the lookout for a prominent number of brown bears that frequent the trail. Many bear sightings are reported, especially recently, so it’s best to proceed with caution.
