Strawberry Hill
Golden Gate Park itself is pretty amazing, but where it truly shines is at Strawberry Hill. This ultra-romantic outdoor location is bursting with colorful flora and fauna almost year-round. This gorgeous little section of the park rises nearly 430 meters into the air, so you can see for miles on a beautiful day.
To enjoy Strawberry Hill to the fullest, try to arrive with a full picnic basket and a comfy blanket just before sunset. Or, for early birds, have a picnic breakfast just before the sun comes up instead.
