Russell Crowe
Celebrities typically lend their voices for many different causes. Some are gentle with their approach, and some are a bit more forceful. Others are so out of left field and a bit too touchy. Such is the case with Russell Crowe and his Twitter rant that went viral.
Even though Twitter limits messages to 140 characters, this still gave Russell Crow plenty of room for his rant against circumcision. He stated this practice was barbaric and stupid. He went even further with the statement “I love my Jewish friends, I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting your babies”. Crowe later apologized and expressed embarrassment for his actions. The public may have forgiven but Twitter screen shots will never let us forget.
