Coronado Unified School District
Ranked ninth by Niche, Coronado Unified School District is located in the city of Coronado and direct outlying areas. Smaller than some of the larger districts, only around 3,500 students attend the five schools in this district. That doesn’t mean Coronado Unified School District isn’t competitive; when compared with state averages, 80 percent of students tested well in reading and math.
This district is also home to several excellent drama departments, some of which give students the ability to participate in recitals and musicals. With an integrated preschool and daycare, it ensures that young single mothers never need to stop attending school. Each of the facilities within this district are community-focused and strongly supportive of attending students.
