The Matrix debuted in 1999 and featured popular stars such as Laurence Fishburn and Keanu Reeves. This movie led to two more, with fans sticking with the series well after the trilogy was completed.
The Matrix trilogy focused on some of the most pressing events in our human history and evolution today. It was ahead of its time, and it poses the question of whether or not the Earth really exists as we know it. Not only does the film make you think about existence and the human life form, but it causes you to look at technology and how far we have progressed through years as well as the various ways in which society operates.
