The network interface card (NIC) is a computer hardware that is solely used for computer networking. With advancements in technology and computer technology, all computer devices need to share data with each other. That is the main function of a network card. The network card also enables computer users to connect to the internet. Without a network card, all attempts to connect to a network would be in vain.
