A motherboard is sometimes referred to as system board, mainboard or logic board. It is the main printed circuit board that holds all the electronic components inside a computer. All computer peripherals like the CPU, RAM, HDD and flash disks are attached to the main board. It also offers expansion slots for other hardware components like TV cards, network cards and graphic cards.
