Astoria Park
Another large park within the city where you can safely run is Astoria Park. You can look out onto the East River as you head down Shore Boulevard. See the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and Hell Gate Bridge which connects Astoria to Randall’s Island.
Astoria Park is a 59 acre park connected to Randall’s Island. It also houses New York’s largest outside pool, Astoria Park Pool. You can even make a runner’s loop of the track in the south area of the park close to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge.
