Larry Ellison is the founder of Oracle, a software company that designs and creates software to be used for business solutions. Many businesses today use this database management software. He served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer from 1977 to 2014.
Mr. Ellison is a businessman, philanthropist, Internet entrepreneur, and computer programmer. In 2014, he was listed by Forbes as the third wealthiest man in the United States. He was also listed as the fifth wealthiest man in the world, with a total fortune of approximately $54.4 billion.
