The Scandal
The name of the show says it all. Who doesn’t want to see someone else’s life as a mess, rather than their own life? Not only do we enjoy the controversy, and the continual web of lies, and deceit which we are taken through, but as viewers, we love a great scandal – more so if it includes the leaders of our country.
This results in a show packed with secrets and situations that would be otherwise unmentionable. Not only is it fun to watch on air, it is what keeps us coming back on a weekly basis, to find out what new scandal, or which new event is going to unfold, and how in the world Olivia Pope is going to handle it.
