One of the lowest taxing states in the country, Wyoming offers residents no state income tax burden and no sales tax on prescription medication or groceries. The only downside is that individual counties may add an additional 3% sales tax to purchases.
If you enjoy the great wide open and blue skies along with affordable living, then Wyoming may be the place for you. Wyoming is not only a great state to live in for scenic views, but for low state income taxes as well.
