Hazel is forced to attend a support group and the two individuals fall in love with each other, despite the fact they know they do not have much time together because of Hazel’s illness. This popular teen book is not only one of determination and persistence, but shows how true love will rule out any outside forces working against it. In addition to selling nearly 2 million copies in paperback, the book was also adapted into a film in 2014, which grossed over $266 million.
