Visually, the clown-gone-bad appearance of his face and the shock of bright green hair are hard to forget. He is criminally insane with no motive other than the destruction of Gotham City, which makes him extremely dangerous. But the Joker can be creepy or charming; light-hearted or serious. He always manages to get the upper hand, even if he ultimately loses any battle with Batman.
