Arab Spring
The most shared moment of Instagram was this image. When the Arab Spring took over Egypt, not only did it cause an uproar in the country, but was also an image which was shared by millions, and viewed by millions, not only on Instagram, but also on the news and different sites online as well.
There is plenty of good which can come from different online social media and social sharing sites. Although not everything spread a positive message, plenty of good can be done, and news can be spread, on many different platforms when the social media sites are properly used to share these images. Not only did these images go viral on Instagrams page, but they were also viewed millions of times over again, through TV news media, through different sites online, and through social sharing which was done, by individuals who re-post the images on their page.
