Motorcycle Racing
Racing at speeds of well over 100 MPH, with limited protection, and exposure of the limbs make this race to the end more dangerous than most. The tight twists, turns, and any natural obstructions make this sport inherently dangerous even if every body part were covered in protective gear.
In addition to the many injuries, loss of limbs, fires, and accidents, many deaths occur in this sport on an annual basis. Not only is it dangerous, it is a sport which requires an extreme level of understanding, skill, and practice in order to even be able to enter into a race with other competitors.
These are truly some of the most extreme sports in the world, as well as some of the most dangerous sports you can engage in. So what’s the lure? Man has a natural drive to seek out thrills, to feel that rush of adrenaline, to challenge the forces that govern this world. Some people have to experience it with every fiber of their being, while others are just as satisfied buying tickets and watching safely from the sidelines.
