The show Seinfeld, dealt with the craziness of New York City and the equally crazy lives of four single friends. The cast of the Seinfeld show had a lot of chemistry and all displayed easy, humorous demeanors. It became a little less humorous during Michael Richards’ rant.
During a stand-up comedy routine in Los Angeles, Richards began calling audience members a derogatory racial name during his routine. Someone caught this rant on tape and uploaded the video online, which went viral almost immediately. Members of the tight knit cast began to distance themselves from him and his popularity has never recovered.
