Whidbey Island
While there is a great deal of waterfront, Whidbey Island, Washington is not a beach getaway. You’ll have to take the ferry from outside Seattle to get to this island that feels as if it is lost in time. There are huge redwoods, the Puget Sound, and small towns to explore.
Look out over the coast from comfy chairs while enjoying your morning coffee. Watch for gray whales in the Saratoga Passage and enjoy a romantic suite with a Jacuzzi to celebrate your anniversary. You can enjoy amazing seafood, quiet taverns, and classic films while on Whidbey Island as well as your fill of shopping and wandering the forest and coast.
