Pay on Time
Bill payment is the biggest factor in your credit score. If you are constantly late, or miss payments, your score will take a hit. It is important that you continue to make payments on old accounts and on new accounts in a timely manner.
Don’t neglect payments or simply skip them because you think it can’t hurt your already damaged credit. Having one missed payment can decrease your score. Always contact creditors and discuss payment terms if you are having difficulties paying a bill.
