Empty the mailbox quickly. If you let items pile up, it will become easier for thieves and criminals to find and steal your information. Your mail can also be stolen and used to open credit card accounts in your name.
A secure post office box is often the best option for mailing financial statements and records. At least you are the only one with access, and the box is in a secured facility for protection.
