Have all Police Reports Handy

This is important to avoid delays. The other driver’s insurer may request reimbursement from your insurer due to lack of evidence. With the police report in hand, this will be less of an issue.

If the report clearly shows you weren’t at fault, your insurer will send this right over. From there, the other driver’s insurer can’t deny and will have to pay out the claim.
