Keep on Top of Things
One of the biggest complaints people have about bankruptcy attorneys (and attorneys in general) is lack of communication. But, it works both ways. They are not going to call every minute of the day, so you have to check in frequently as well.
Find out what is going on, the expected time frame, and what happens in each part of the process. Asking questions and keeping on top of things, will result in your bankruptcy going through in the shortest period of time possible. You also don’t want to risk the chance that your attorney completely forgets about you and your case.
