10 Things Every Credit Card User Should Know

Zero Interest Has Limits

From time to time, you will come across zero interest specials. Usually, these specials consist of credit offered to you with zero interest for a brief period of time or on specific items. When you follow the terms of the offer, you pay the cash price for the item or items. The problem occurs if you aren’t aware of your credit terms.

If you have not paid off the balance when the introductory offer expires, the interest from the previous months may be added. In addition, the zero interest may only apply to the terms of the offer and not to everything you might use your card for. For example, if your credit card company offers you zero interest on all lawnmowers, but you buy a snow blower, you aren’t going to get the zero interest promotion.
