Don’t Choose by Gender
If you are a male, does it mean you have to hire a male lawyer? The answer is no; in fact, although there are firms which specialize in helping either men or women who are getting divorced, it isn’t always advised to choose an attorney based on his or her gender alone.
Don’t assume that because you are a man, a woman wouldn’t be willing to help or perform as efficiently as a male attorney. This is not only cutting the potential options down by 50%, it can keep you from choosing the attorney that is best for your particular circumstances.
