Tax Errors
Did you ever have issues with the IRS which were resolved? Are they still on your report? Or, are business taxes inaccurately listed as personal on your report? This again is another major section to frequently check.
Your taxes, payments, or inability to pay, will also affect your score and your report greatly. If you show unpaid taxes, that were actually paid, make sure this is corrected and reported correctly. More often than not it is a quick fix, and the IRS can resolve it with a letter to the credit bureaus.
